One Week to Go!

Though I am not biting my finger nails, and actually have a quiet peace in my heart about it, in one week from today, God willing, we will be based again in Cancun and I will be having various tests done at Hope4Cancer clinic there to see whether I can finally be declared “cancer free”.

It was just about a year ago (on 13th March 2020) that I was leading an (STS - Simply the Story) training event in our adopted Mexican church in Monterrey. As that meeting finished - the last one the church has had in person since Covid-19 hit the region - I was approached by two doctors who had journeyed across the city to let me know that, following a biopsy earlier that week - I had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of melanoma (cancer) on my left leg.

Rather than choosing the oncologist recommended procedure of having it surgically removed (with my left lymph nodes), the LORD spoke to me about going to Hope4Cancer (H4C) in Cancun for three weeks of over 200 non-toxic therapies and treatments.

Applying the directions of my Cancun H4C doctor and my excellent phone-in H4C doctor at “home” in Monterrey, and following instructions for an intensive “Home Treatment Plan”, I watched that enormous, ugly melanoma mole begin to change form and die away.

Two further trips to Cancun from our temporary home in Hemet, California saw remarkable improvement and an ‘almost’ “cancer free” pronouncement on my last visit to the clinic.

The doctor gave me some rather strange advice when I asked him when this mole scab thingy would drop off, as he said it would. He told me to apply a mixture of molasses and baking soda, and, within a week of daily application I began to see the scab change.

Significantly for me, the very day we left California (for this clinic visit trip), the scab was completely gone and raw flesh was left in its place. In the short time since we have been here in the Yucatan (Mexico) that raw flesh has closed over and is showing almost normal skin colour!

Although we recognise that Hope4Cancer doctors and staff have led us on a path to healing, we know that the honour to the Only One who can work the inside physical healing and cancer cell destruction goes to the LORD, and, we are thankful firstly to Him, to H4C staff and to the multitude of praying friends and colleagues around the globe (literally!) who have been following this journey of mine with their intercession.

One week today, we hope to report the results of the tests coming up in H4C. Watch this space!
