We’re Taking This Discussion To Africa …

I know we have been on a rather interesting journey in recent weeks (since we started talking about Fermanagh). However, in an hour my wife and I are leaving for Africa and we must divert a little bit for now from Fintona and Fermanagh.

The discussion about Fintona actually reaches to Uganda. In fact there is a connection. My wife and I are not the only ones headed for Africa. Over twenty-five members of the Fintona church family are heading with us.

So get ready for some exciting stories over the next ten days.

Meanwhile, another brief story from Fintona … One of the most stirring things that I have been seeing in the Fintona church has been the way several young people have testified to being delivered from addictions purely by the realisation and revelation of God as a loving Father, and His grace and kindness gave them the power to overcome their sin. Living together, they had been addicted to drink and drugs, and their relationship was not meeting their deep needs for love. Attendance at the church meetings brought them to a place of seeing God as a forgiving Father and they found the freedom they both sought … in Christ. Surrendering to Him they have since been married and are now growing rapidly in grace and taking much appreciated roles of service in the church since last year.

They are also part of the team seeking more of God as we head to Uganda tonight.

As Internet and time permit I hope to post from Africa and sooner or later more along the theme of moves of God in Fintona and Fermanagh.
