Here we go!

Virtually all we own ready for the trip!

It’s been too long! 18 days since our last post. We promised you a “look in” on our lives, and so here we go with the first one.

This morning we loaded up our earthly belongings (as above) into our borrowed car and headed two hours down the road to the coast in California as the first step of our journey to Mexico and ultimately back to Ireland for our oldest daughter’s wedding.

(For those interested, the blue bags are the items needed for my current “Home Treatment” with Hope4Cancer, containing supplements and instruments needed for my therapies. We hope, after this trip to the cancer clinic, to hear “cancer free” and to be able to leave some of those items behind, allowing us to reduce back to our two-suitcase-two-carry-on-each luggage load).

Tomorrow morning, God willing, we are to head out at 07:30 for the Los Angeles airport to begin “Leg 2” of “The Road to Mexico” and so the story should continue in the coming days (we hope! 🤪)
