When Jesus met us at the Airport
Life hit us at a considerable pace and pressure in recent weeks—since the end of our time in Uganda until pretty much now, so this is why our blog has been silent.
Before I continue our story I must tell you about when Jesus met us in the airport!
Recently the LORD laid it on our hearts to draw aside with Him to rest physically and also to spend time listening to His voice and heartbeat about next steps in our lives.
Feeling the need to find some sunshine and warmth we were delighted to travel to the Middle East after finding a deal for our “time aside”.
We travelled for the best part of two days to arrive at our destination, and, upon arrival we were staggered to be met by a man, whose name in Arabic means Jesus. He took us through immigration and directed us to our accommodation and my wife and I could not get away from the significance of being met in the airport (by Jesus) at the outset of this time dedicated to being with the LORD.
No doubt some exciting developments will be ahead.
In the coming days, as opportunity allows, we shall continue the Uganda story, and share more about what has been happening recently, bringing us to this place of sand and sea.
