It's All About Those Who Haven't

I went to bed thinking about it. I woke up with it on my mind. I spent 90 minutes this morning unable to get it out of my head.

The Bible. The Word of God.

I consider myself blessed, privileged, and with unbelievable access to the Word of God. So many ways to read it, listen to it and study it. And in a multitude of translations … just in English alone!

I have the Word of God in my heart language. We have had it in English for years. This trip is all about those who haven’t.

In the video posted yesterday it showed how YWAM Ships Kona is doing a phenomenal work in reaching the isolated of Madang province in PNG (Papua New Guinea). They have medical outreach, dental clinics and educational projects doing wonders.

However, there are more “Bible-less” peoples in PNG than anywhere else on earth. Another arm of the work of YWAM Ships Kona is that of Oral Bible Translation. Teams of translators are on site now and going to PNG to bring the Gospel of Luke and JESUS film in the mother tongue of 33 different languages spoken in Madang with the goal of having this initial stage of giving the Scriptures to those currently without any portion of God’s Word available in the language in which they dream, think and communicate before the end of 2026.

We want to be a part of this effort and that is why we are crossing the world to go help out. Watch more here.
