Provision

One of the wonderful sides to this story has been the LORD’s wonderful and faithful provision for this trip so far.

As many of our friends know, we have seen 19 flights (of the 22 we booked for this trip) obtained free of charge, excluding some airport taxes.

That is a story in itself, and, as requested, I am preparing a document to tell how we have used “points & miles” to obtain flights for this trip, but it was still down to the LORD showing us how and providing the ‘when’ for those ‘sweet spot’ moments when seats became freely available.

Yesterday, I needed to find three hotels for ‘layovers’ in Dubai, Singapore and Brisbane.

His leading regarding the Dubai situation was a real “Hallelujah Praise Moment”!

As I was beginning to look for my options an email arrived from the credit card I was going to use. A 33.5% discount in Hilton hotels in Dubai!

• After a short search I managed to book a 4 star Hilton for a total of $240 for a three-night stay.

• Not only that, but that card I am using for this booking earns me 5 points for each dollar spent.

• Not only that, but I will earn points with Hilton for my stay.

• Not only that, but the “Gold” membership I got freely with Hilton from another card, means that I get free breakfasts and other perks during my time at the hotel.

Now that is a Hallelujah moment!
